Church musician

---

As a freelance church musician and organist, Shea has played in most Christian churches and cathedrals in the greater London area. He held the post of Director of Music for the Anglican Parish of Gidea Park from 2004–2010. During his time at music college, Shea played live for BBC radio on Remembrance Sunday (2003) at Birmingham Cathedral. In September 2008 he directed a Songs of Praise service in St. John’s Church, Stratford Broadway as part of the Newham Music and Dance Festival, bringing live music to one of London’s poorest boroughs. The service included the world premiere of Like as the Hart by Martin Seymour.

Shea Lolin currently holds the post of Director of Music for the Catholic Parish of Manor Park. This allows him to lead and develop the ministry of music within the parish whilst practising his own Catholic faith. Shea is equally at home with the chanting of the ordinary of the mass in both Latin and English as he is with modern worship. Always with the liturgical needs placed first, his experiences allow him to execute the music to the highest standard. In addition to his regular liturgical duties, he is an organist for several agencies.

In 2011 he wrote his own setting to the changes of the Mass which are to be used from September 2011. This setting is currently being used at Manor Park.
